UTS can proctor exams for your college classes. We offer proctoring for both electronic and paper tests, even for students outside of the UNC system.
Students can register themselves for a test through RegisterBlast and selecting "Proctor" in the exam group, or through Smarter Proctoring. Please contact your instructor or testing institution before signing up to be proctored to ensure that we are able to proctor and receive exam materials. Students should also confirm any ID requirements, testing aides (such as calculators), or accomodations with their instructor or testing institution.
Exams are $15 an hour with a $3.50 service fee. Time is scheduled in 30 minute increments.
Accuplacer is a series of tests that evaluate students' skills in reading, writing, and math to help college administrators place them in courses that match their skills.
At least one government-issued photo ID with a signature is required.
Non-UNCW students who wish to take an Accuplacer must inform the institution they wish to attend and have them contact us at testingservices@uncw.edu. After receiving a voucher number from their institution, the student will sign-up through RegisterBlast
The proctoring fee for Accuplacer exams is $38.50; this provides you with up to 4 hours to take the exam.
TEAS measures basic essential skills in the academic content area of reading, mathematics, science, English and language usage. The test is intended for use primarily with adult nursing program applicants. The objectives assessed on the TEAS exam are those which nurse educators deemed most appropriate and relevant to measure entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.
At least one government-issued photo ID is required.
Before test day, TEAS candidates should create an ATI account. You will be required to login to this account on the day of the test. After creating your ATI account, you can then sign up through RegisterBlast. UNCW students can find further information on the Nursing program's TEAS Admissions Test: Prelicensure page.
Registration for the TEAS is $108.50. This covers both the cost of the exam and proctoring. Exam length is approximately 3.5 hours.

The CLEP test allows students to earn college credit for what they already know. With numerous CLEP tests offered, you can quickly satisfy general education requirements and prerequisites
One non-expired, government issued ID with photo and signature is required.
Before you can be proctored, you must register through Collegeboard and receive a ticket for your exam. You will then sign up for proctoring through RegisterBlast, using information from the ticket you received.
The Proctoring fee for a CLEP exam is $28.50.
DSST exams are college subject exams that you can take to earn college credit for knowledge you acquired outside of a traditional classroom. There are numerous exams to select from in subjects such as business, humanities, mathematics, physical science, and more.
At least one non-expired, government-issued, photo idea with a signature is required; DANTES funded candidates must also prove a Common Access Card (CAC). A Social Security Number is required to start the exam.
Scheduling for DSST is handled through RegisterBlast. DSST exams are purchased at the testing center on testing day.
