Operations Field Manager
Jason joined the Undersea Vehicles Program team in 2013 as a remotely operated vehicle pilot/technician. In 2017 Jason started managing the program and is responsible for training and mentoring the two additional team members. Prior to working at UNCW Jason worked as a satellite oceanographer and a hydrographic surveyor.

Professional Service
The Undersea Vehicles Program supports undersea research mainly with a Sub-Atlantic Mohawk remotely operated vehicle. This fly-away, medium-sized remotely operated vehicle system can be deployed rapidly and is operated by three experienced staff. Currently there are three functioning deployment modes with this vehicle; 300 meter, 500 meter, and 1,000 meter.
