Penny Sauer
Associate Professor
Penny Sauer joined the School of Nursing in August of 2013 as an Assistant Professor with over 20 years of acute care nursing experience and 7 years in nursing education. Penny is currently an Associate Professor and has served in many leadership roles. She is the program coordinator for the Master’s in Nursing Education Program and the Post-Graduate Nurse Educator Certificate.

Areas of strength in teaching include online education as well as experiential learning.

Areas of research include nursing workforce issues, including bullying and incivility. Research on preparing students and new nurses to be successful in the workforce.
