WCE Films Student Testimonials for Upcoming Promotional Campaign

Wect InterviewsWECT was on campus March 17 to film student testimonials for an upcoming campaign to promote the Watson College of Education and the teaching profession. Twenty students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at the college provided testimonials for use in the promotion.

The campaign includes two 15-second commercials and a two-minute video featuring students. The ads will appear on WECT's homepage during April and May.

Testimonials were filmed in the Ed Lab and Curriculum Materials Center by WECT and Dani Butts, a graduate assistant in WCE's Educational Technology Unit. Students also provided written testimonials, and Krystine Wetherill took photos for use on the website and in materials promoting programs offered by the college.

Susan Finley and Wetherill partnered with WECT to plan the promotion. Finley is the communication specialist for the Watson College and Wetherill is WCE's web developer and graphic designer. Program coordinators for Elementary Education, Middle Grades, Secondary, Special Education, Higher Education and School Administration programs recommended students and alumni for participation and provided support.
