The UNCW Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is offering assistance to students, families and residents of the greater Wilmington community with the preparation of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2023-24 financial aid filing season, which opens on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022.
The financial aid office is open during regular business hours to assist students and families (including those who do not attend UNCW) in person or virtually. Please drop by Warwick 140 for assistance or email finaid@uncw.edu to schedule a time to meet.
New applicants who plan to submit the FAFSA online must first create a Federal Student Aid ID at StudentAid.gov. Each school has its own deadlines and schedule for awarding financial aid. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA as early as possible while aid is available.
