Tuesday, April 26, 2022

Dr. Maia Butler, associate professor in the Department of English (effective July 1), and Dr. Ginger Rhodes, professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, have been selected as CAS faculty fellows for 2022-23.

The CAS Faculty Fellows Program aims to grow talented leaders and empower campus citizens familiar with the mission and responsibilities of the CAS dean’s office. The positions offer opportunities to participate in discussions on campus leadership, curriculum development and assessment, enrollment management, resource allocations, and strategic planning.

“Dr. Butler and Dr. Rhodes are committed to our college’s mission to foster critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability through the integration of transdisciplinary research, applied learning, and community engagement,” said Michelle Scatton-Tessier, interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. “I look forward to working with them to advance our efforts to support instruction and faculty research.”
