National Weather Service forecasts indicate an increased risk of life-threatening rip currents and steep waves along area beaches this week (Sept. 8-12), due to the effects of Hurricane Larry. Please visit the NWS rip current risk site before heading out to the coast and stay out of the water as directed by posted signage and safety personnel.
