Benjamin Williams, a senior in the Athletic Training program, won the NC Athletic Trainer’s Association Presidential Scholarship for Leadership Award at the NCATA’s 2021 virtual awards ceremony.

The Presidential Award recognizes any business, medical practices, organizations or individual that have supported healthcare services above and beyond the expected in support of athletic trainers and the athletic training community.

“This award means so much to me, because It doesn’t just recognize me, but it recognizes the outstanding athletic training program I learned from,” Williams said. “I think it is so important to remember where you started.”
