UNCW Senior Associate Athletic Director/SWA Tiffany D. Tucker has been appointed to a four-year term on the NCAA Women's Basketball Rules Committee.

A member of the Seahawk staff for two years, Tucker will serve on the committee from Sept. 1, 2021, through August 31, 2025.

The committee consists of 13 members and is responsible for providing guidance to member schools on experimental and permanent rules implementations for the sport.

"I am truly humbled to be selected to serve on the NCAA Women's Basketball Rules Committee," said Tucker. "Serving alongside respected industry leaders while representing the Colonial Athletic Association and UNCW is an honor and charge that I do not take lightly.

"The game of basketball has served as a vehicle that has taken me around the world. I am grateful to give back to the sport that has given me so much."
