UNCW men's basketball alumnus Martin "Marty" Jarmond is on the move again.

Three years after being named the William V. Campbell Director of Athletics at Atlantic Coast Conference member Boston College, Jarmond has been selected as the new Alice and Nahum Lainer Family Director of Athletics at Pac-12 power UCLA. He begins the new post on July 1.

The Fayetteville, N.C., native made the Seahawk team as a walk-on in the fall of 1997 and served as a team captain for two years, including the school's first Colonial Athletic Association championship squad in 2000. Jarmond earned CAA All-Academic honors in 2001 and was UNCW's inaugural Upperman Scholar.
