Yoko Kano Awarded Southeastern Association of Teachers of Japanese Teacher of the Year Award

Yoko Kano, senior lecturer in the Department of World Languages and Cultures, is the recipient of the 2020 Southeastern Association of Teachers of Japanese (SEATJ) Teacher of the Year Award. The award honors educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching and exemplary dedication to Japanese language education. Kano received the award at the SEATJ annual conference on February 22.
