On Dec. 3, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends of UNCW are invited to show their Seahawk support on a day of global giving. #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

Since its inception in 2012, the global movement has inspired millions to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

The Seahawk family can be a part of #GivingTuesday by making a single or monthly online gift. Employees can also contribute through payroll deduction. Monthly giving is an efficient and effective way to support UNCW. With this option, donors can also select to support areas on campus that mean the most to them, putting their donations toward the programs or priorities of their choosing.

"Many of us at UNCW give back to our community in many different ways," said UNCW donor and business applications analyst Jonathan Graves. "My small contribution, combined with others', can help young people complete their education and benefit their future careers."
