An added perk of attending UNCW is getting to live in Wilmington and sharing our beautiful location with visitors. UNCW’s annual Family and Alumni Weekend includes tours and events not only on campus, but to beautiful local attractions such as Airlie Gardens and the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.

Families (parents, guardians, grandparents, siblings and family friends) of UNCW students and alumni are invited to a weekend of entertainment and fellowship that celebrates the Seahawk family.

Event highlights include:

Friday, Sept. 14
Seahawk Sunset Celebration
6 to 7:30 p.m.
A relaxing kick off to FAW 2018 at Shell Island Resort on Wrightsville Beach that includes music, food and cornhole games.

Saturday, Sept. 15
Seahawk Mix and Munch Brunch
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A chance to meet other families and alumni while enjoying brunch and a panoramic view of campus from the Clocktower Lounge.

Mystery Dinner Theater
5:30 to 8 p.m.
New this year: a mystery production and interactive dinner show. Help solve the case while enjoying a low country boil in the UNCW Burney Center.
