The UNCW Watson College of Education invites the campus and members of the public to help identify and recognize those whose work enhances the lives of children, families and communities in North Carolina.

Nominations for the 25th annual Razor Walker Awards are being accepted through Monday, Dec. 19. The awards are named in recognition of those who walk the “razor’s edge” to serve the children and youth of the state.

Candidates may be individuals or organizations not currently affiliated with UNCW whose work has significantly enhanced the lives of others in the following categories:

• Arts/Literature
• Business
• Educational Administration
• Law
• Medicine
• Philanthropy
• Public Service/Policy
• Teaching/Research

Recipients will be formally honored at an invitation-only event on April 25 in UNCW’s Burney Center Ballroom.
