ALERT: Region Under Hurricane Warning

11:20 a.m. -- The National Weather Service has placed the region under a hurricane warning. The university will close and suspend all services at 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. As previously announced, employees whose shifts begin at 12 p.m. or later on Friday should not report to work unless otherwise advised by supervisors. Faculty and staff should consult the Adverse Weather Policy (Condition 1) to determine their best personal course of action for Friday morning until 12 p.m. and throughout this weather event. A decision regarding the timing of students' and employees’ return to campus will be made and communicated as soon as possible in the coming days.
As weather conditions develop, the university will convey updates in real time based on the latest confirmed information from the National Weather Service and other authorities.
