UNCW to Serve as Host Institution for Russian Research Administrator Fellow
Friday, August 12, 2016
Natalia Shaydorova, a research administrator from Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University, will visit UNCW as part of the National Council of University Research Administrators Global Fellowship program.
The fellowship program is a joint initiative between NCURA, the Eurasia Foundation and other global research administration societies. Currently, UNCW is the only school in the UNC system to serve as a NCURA Host Institution. Serving as a host institution in the fellowship program may lead to international collaborations with the fellow’s institution and other universities.
Shaydorova is scheduled to arrive on campus Aug. 16. During her three-day visit, she will tour the campus and learn about the university’s research operations and management.
“We are pleased and excited to welcome Natalia to UNCW,” said Panda Powell, UNCW Director of Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance. “We look forward to sharing knowledge of research administration techniques and a continuing relationship with Yarslov-the-Wise Novgorod State University.”
