In addition to a new flock of students, UNCW welcomed 39 new faculty members to campus this fall.

The group of talented educators will join 20 campus units this year. 

“This cohort of new faculty will expand possibilities for students in all of the colleges and schools, bringing new expertise and energy to our campus and community,” said Diana Ashe, director of the Center for Teaching Excellence and Faculty Leadership.

Ashe noted that even during their orientation, the group was already finding ways to engage in the local and regional community and devising interdisciplinary teaching and research projects.

“This group is clearly going to do great things at UNCW,” she said.
