Dear UNCW Community,

We are deeply saddened to share the news that Connor Vogel, a junior majoring in computer science, passed away this weekend following an accident off-campus. He grew up in Wilmington and attended both Coastal Christian High School and Cape Fear Community College. UNCW community members are encouraged to stop by the Fisher Student Center Information Desk to sign Connor’s memorial book, which will be sent to his family. Students seeking grief support may contact the University Counseling Center at 962.3746.

Services celebrating Connor’s life will be held this Friday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Christ Community Church, 4555 Fairview Drive, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, Connor’s family requests that donations be made to the Connor Vogel Scholarship Fund at Coastal Christian High School (contact Montica Miller at 910.395.9995 for details).
