AY25 R&I Applications:
Research and Innovation is pleased to announce the launch of the Emergency Fund for Research Equipment Repair (EFRER) to establish a process by which departments and faculty members can make requests to fund repairs of specialized equipment required to support extramurally sponsored research activities.
Total initial funding available for FY24 is $60,000 with a priority deadline of November 10, 2023.
The purpose of a Research Community is to foster, connect, support, and grow interdisciplinary communities of scholars with common thematic interests. They encourage the development of larger collaboration teams and raise the profile of UNCW expertise in selected domains.

Faculty-Mentored Student Research Fellowship
The Research Community in International Trade and Exchange (RCITE) seeks to promote research, education, and discussion of the complex issues surrounding international trade. As part of these efforts, RCITE is announcing a fellowship for faculty-mentored student research. Enhancing students’ scholarly activity is the primary priority for this award, whether faculty apply to involve their students in their own work or to support independent student projects. This fellowship will award $5,000 to encourage and support student academic work - $3,500 to the student(s) and $1,500 for a faculty mentor stipend.
