UNCW in Italy is located in Sorrento, a charming, walkable city nestled between the mountains and the stunning Mediterranean coast. Students can easily walk to the city center, marinas, beaches, or go hiking in the nearby mountains. Local trains and buses provide convenient opportunities for travel to Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, Rome, and sites beyond. Ferries also depart Sorrento’s marina several times each day to the stunning islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida.
