CAMPUS PARTICIPATION
The University of North Carolina Wilmington is pleased to invite the campus community to participate in the installation of the 7th chancellor of UNCW, Dr. Aswani K. Volety.
For those who are unable to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed and a recording posted online afterwards.
Faculty
Faculty are invited to join the ceremony processional comprised of UNCW student leaders and distinguished delegates from universities across the nation and around the globe. Faculty who choose to attend must complete the survey linked below, and should plan to wear regalia and arrive at Trask Coliseum no later than 9:30 a.m. on March 31 to line up for the processional.
Complete the survey below by March 15 to indicate your plans for attendance. Faculty who confirm they are attending will receive additional information (including exact reporting location) via email by March 24.
Staff
All UNCW staff are invited to attend as guests for Chancellor Volety’s Installation. A live-stream and recording will be available for guests who are unable to attend in-person.
This event would not be possible without the expertise, dedication, and support of staff from around campus. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer for the momentous university event, please email Stephanie Henderson at hendersons@uncw.edu to learn more about opportunities to assist.
Students
All UNCW students are invited to attend as guests for Chancellor Volety’s installation. A live-stream and recording will be available for guests who are unable to attend in-person.
Select student organization delegates have been invited to participate in the ceremony processional. If you were invited to serve in this role and have questions, please contact Andrea Ingle at inglea@uncw.edu.
*While the university is not altering class schedules or other campus events for the installation, we encourage faculty, staff, and students to participate in the ceremony if you are able to do so.
