The UNCW Department of History presents the Sherman Echo Lecture with Wesleyan University’s Dr. Kaisha Esty. She will present “Imperialism's Imprint: Poor Freedwomen, State Regulation and the Moral Panic Over the One-Room Log Cabin” at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 23 in Morton Hall 100. Free and open to the public.
