Film fanatics, makers and scholars are invited to take part in the annual Visions Film Festival and Conference, April 5-6. 2. Conference Block: Four young, professional scholars challenge the audience with their in-depth analysis of film and discuss topics important to film studies in an inquisitive environment.
  3. Keynote Address: Badge holders get the chance to hear from an established filmmaker as they share their journey to success.
  4. Visionary Panel: Seven film professionals share anecdotes from their careers, offer advice to attendees, and take questions from the audience regarding film production, graduate school, fundraising, internships, interviews and more.
  5. Video Race: Twenty teams square off in a one-hour, one-take filmmaking challenge.
