Department of Theatre Presents “Dr. Faustus”

The UNCW Department of Theatre continues its 2017-18 season with Dr. Faustus, Feb. 15-18 & Feb. 22-25. See Faustus' fall in this music-infused adaptation of Christopher Marlowe's classic, directed by assistant professor Christopher Marino.

While UNCW has had productions with original music in the past, Dr. Faustus is the first play with music sung by the actors. To help with music composition, Marino has enlisted the talents of composer and frequent collaborator Adrian Varnam ’99, ’09M. 

All shows will take place on the Mainstage Theatre in the UNCW Cultural Arts Building. Tickets are $15 for the general public; $12 for seniors, UNCW employees and alumni, and $6 for students (sales tax included). They are available at the Kenan Box Office, by calling 910.962.3500 or online. They can also be purchased in person one hour prior to each show. Show times are 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
