College Day 2017

Saturday, October 28

The UNCW College of Arts and Sciences, in partnership with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, invites learners and scholars of all ages to UNCW’s 16th annual College Day.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, registered participants can “go back to school for a day” and attend four classes taught by UNCW faculty members. The 35 available course selections for the day include offerings from the humanities, arts, social sciences and natural sciences on a variety of compelling topics.

Registrants will check in between 8 and 8:30 a.m. in the Warwick Center Ballroom and pick up their class locations and other information. Provost Marilyn Sheerer will deliver welcoming remarks at 8:30 a.m. Each class session is an hour long, with the first beginning at 9 a.m. and the last starting at 2:30 p.m.

Prices are $35 for OLLI members and $45 for non-members (includes a catered lunch). Class descriptions are available and those interested must register online or call 910.962.3195. Registration closes on Oct. 20.
