The 2016 ETEAL Instagram Contest:
ETEAL Expedition!

ETEAL's 2016 Instagram Contest is now open for submissions! Send your applied learning photos to @UNCWETEAL on Instagram between April 4th and April 25th, 2016 for a chance to win excellent prizes such as gift cards, Seahawk Buck$, a parking pass upgrade, and more!

Here's how you can get involved, submit your photos, and win some of these great prizes:

  1. Take a picture of your applied learning experience or idea, or use one of your existing applied learning photos
  2. Follow @UNCWETEAL on Instagram an tag us in your photo
  3. In the caption of your submission, include your name and mention @UNCWETEAL.

All Submissions are due April 25th, 2016 and we'll be awarding the contest winners on Reading Day, April 28th at the Hawk's Nest Stage in Fisher University Union.

Contest Categories, Terms, and Conditions

Contest Categories

This year there are seven categories eligible for awards in our ETEAL Instagram Contest! While you don't have to specifically submit your photos to a given category in order to enter, please keep in mind that some photos are only eligible for one category while others may qualify in more than one category.

The 2016 ETEAL Instagram Contest: ETEAL Expedition award categories are:

  • Most Liked - awarded to the photo with the highest number of likes on Instagram
  • Most Liked Video - awarded to the Instagram Video with the highest number of likes
  • Faculty Favorite - selected by ETEAL faculty, staff, and administrators
  • Best Idea for a Potential ETEAL Project
  • Most Original
  • Study Abroad - A special category for all Study Abroad contest submissions
  • Most Liked Post for a Student Organization - Awarded to a student organization's photo or video submission, showcasing the applied learning their organization participates in, which receives the most likes on Instagram
