CHHS Professor Receives Honorable Mention at SAGE/CSWE Commission on Research Faculty Award for Innovation in Research Instruction

School of Social Work Professor, Kristin Bolton received an honorable mention for this year's SAGE/CSWE Commission on Research Faculty Award for Innovation in Research Instruction.

Kristin was recognized for her work to design and implement CHHS 492, the innovative interdisciplinary research course that she piloted this fall along with faculty from the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences: Candy Ashton & Lisa Sprod and School of Nursing: Nancy Ahern.

“It is such an honor to have been selected by the CSWE Commission on Research,” Kristin said. “The process of creating and implementing this class was amazing and I have enjoyed working with colleagues from across the college.”

Previous CHHS members Brandi Crowe and Kathy Browder were also instrumental in the course’s development and implementation. This is a great honor from CSWE and Dr. Bolton is very deserving!
