CHHS students pose at State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium

CHHS Students Presented Their Research Studies at State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research & Creativity Symposium

On Nov. 5, a group of 12 exercise science students (SHAHS) presented their undergraduate research studies at the State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium.

The group was led by Exercise Science Professors Wayland Tseh and Robert Boyce, who served as mentors to the students.

Wayland said it’s important for students to present their research at conferences like this because it provides them with valuable experience they need when applying to grad school.

“Simply put, these undergraduate students did everything that a graduate student will do,” he said.

The event was held at NC Central University.
