Nate Miner, Assistant Dean for Finance and Resource Management

CHHS Welcomes New Assistant Dean for Finance and Resource Management

CHHS welcomes Nate Miner, the new assistant dean for finance and resource management, who officially began his role on Nov. 1.

Nate, who was previously the director of resource management, will continue to manage the Business Core Service Team on a day-to-day basis; however, in his new position, he will assume a larger role in the planning process for the college. He will work with the CHHS Leadership Team and bring his expertise in finance and resource management to the overall planning for the college.

Kathy Browder, senior associate dean of CHHS, said this position represents continued innovation in the structure and operation of the College of Health and Human Services. The position is new in concept to UNCW, and its creation represents a continued effort to assume a holistic approach to the planning and operation of CHHS.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for CHHS to be a leader on campus and to assume responsibility for local management of resources as envisioned by Chancellor Sartarelli and Provost Sheerer,” Kathy said.

Kathy went on to say that CHHS is privileged to have a person with Mr. Miner’s talent and skills join the college in this new position.
