Kevin Connolley

Prior to joining the School of Social Work faculty as a part-time lecturer in the Fall of 2016, Connolley was employed as a United States Probation Officer. He began his federal service as a line officer in the Southern District of New York (Manhattan Unit) and later transferred to the Eastern District of North Carolina where he served as a Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist and as Officer-in-Charge (Wilmington), before retiring as the Deputy Chief Probation Officer after over thirty years of federal service. Prior to joining the Federal Probation Service, Connolley was a county probation officer in Pennsylvania and also worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker at Danville State Hospital. He earned his BA in sociology from Bloomsburg University and his MSW from Marywood University. Connolley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. He champions the credo that every individual with whom we work, regardless of how heinous their current or prior actions may seem, is worthy of our respect, dignity and compassion.
