Lenoir Rhyne University: Occupational Therapy
Program: 27 months, admits 32 students (also starting a cohort in Columbia, SC accepting 32 students there as well), and starts in the Summer.
Application: Deadline is January 31st. No interview required.
In-State Tuition (total): $57,750. This does not include additional costs/fees.
Admission Info:
- GPA: 3.0 or above suggested - use a rubric system so the higher the GPA the better.
- Minimum GRE Scores: Quantitative - 148; Verbal - 149; Analytical - 3.5
- Observation Hours: Not required, however on the letters of reference there is a section for how long they have known the applicant which indicates how much they observed so observation hours are helpful.
- Three letters of recommendation - two from practitioners (specifically OT's or OTA's) who have observed you in a professional setting.
Program Highlights:
Small institution, you have a core set of instructors that know you well, utilize WebEx to share between the two campuses and collaborate (curriculum for students at Columbia and Hickory campuses will be the same), instructors have all been certified for online instruction to better support students.

Prerequisites must be completed with 5 years of the application date. Can be in progress with prerequisites when applying. Must complete prerequisites with a grade of B- or better.
