Jodi ProtokowiczJodi Protokowicz began her nursing education at Harford Community College and then received her BSN at the University of Maryland. After she began practicing nursing, Protokowicz became interested in nursing education and returned to school for MSN-NE from the University of Phoenix. Later she received her PhD from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Protokowicz’s area of practice has been obstetrics. She has worked in a variety of hospitals both rural and urban and her research interests have involved obstetrics, specifically high-risk pregnancies and pre-eclampsia, and mental illness. Protokowicz has taught all levels of nursing education from undergraduate through the graduate level, both in the classroom and online. She has taught courses in maternal child, nursing research, nursing theory for advance practice nurses, leadership, fundamentals, and pharmacology. Currently Protokowicz is teaching in the Adult Health I course and capstone.
