Mary Murray, MSN, RN, Lecturer

Mary MurrayMary Murray has worked as an RN for over 20 years. She received her BSN from UNCW and worked as a staff nurse on a nephrology unit at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She then went on to work in the progressive care unit (PCU). While working on the PCU, Murray began teaching clinical rotations for students in the LPN program for Cape Fear Community College (CFCC). Murray then became a full-time nursing instructor at CFCC for the next 13 years.  She later achieved her MSN – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from UNCW. 

Since 2014 Murray has worked as a Pharmacovigilance Safety Specialist for Pharmaceutical Products Development (PPD). During this time she taught a variety of online health courses for Miller Motte Community College. Currently, Murray is teaching online RN-BSN courses, which include Health Policy and Clinical Research.
