Jared Kerr, CLR ProfessorJared Kerr is an assistant professor of clinical research, bringing with him a wealth of experience working in a variety of roles in pharmaceutical research and development, project management, academia, and state and federal government positions. Specifically, his interests and concentration is on project management, regulatory affairs, intellectual property, scientific writing, data analytics, and data visualization. Kerr's career focus has been in improving people’s health through innovation.

Kerr's educational background consists of a BS degree (microbiology) from Auburn University, a master’s in public health, international health-epidemiology from Emory University, a law degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University and certification in life sciences entrepreneurship from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
