Paula Baisden: EdD, MSN, PMHRN-BC, Lecturer

Paula Baisen, LecturerPaula Baisden is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse with extensive experience in emergency, trauma and psychiatric health care settings. Baisden recently completed her Doctor of Education degree from Aspen University and is currently a DNP candidate at Rush University. She earned her MSN from Aspen University and BSN from Valparaiso University.

Baisden has many research interests, but is currently focused on simplifying the process of building professional multidisciplinary connections and increasing and improving the educational entry level of new nurses entering who care for patients with mental illness. Aside from teaching, she continues to work as an RN on weekends.
