Brandi Crowe: Assistant Professor

Brandi M. Crowe, Ph.D., LRT/CTRS is an assistant professor in the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences Recreation Therapy program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She currently teaches Research and Evaluation in Recreation Therapy, and Recreation Therapy Interventions II. Her research interests include adaptive sports for individuals with disabilities, stress/coping processes, and complementary and alternative medicine. Brandi has participated in study abroad and service learning opportunities, including trips to the UK, Russia, and Tanzania. She received her Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from Clemson University, her M.S. in Recreation from SUNY Cortland, and her B.S. in Leisure Studies from the University of South Alabama.
