College of Arts & Sciences

Each year faculty members draw upon scholarship in the areas of the Arts, Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences to provide meaningful lectures and discussions. Community engagement is one of the University's highest priorities, and this lecture series fosters dialogue and the exchange of ideas between UNCW faculty and Cape Fear area residents.

UNCWednesday lectures are held the third Wednesday of each month as permitted by the University calendar. Each event includes an hour long discussion and a Q&A session. RSVPs NOT required (general admission seating); open to all.
