Celebrated jazz singer Karrin Allyson is one of the most versatile and exciting performers on the scene today. Her body of work, documented on her ten critically acclaimed albums on Concord Records, ranges from the Great American Songbook of Gershwin and Porter to jazz legends Duke, Thelonious, Miles and Dizzy to Brazilian songs and French chansons. With three Grammy nominations, it is no wonder the Los Angeles Times calls Karrin Allyson "one of the jazz world's finest."

Arts in Action Performance Series

The Arts in Action Performance Series seeks to culturally enrich, educate and entertain both students and the Wilmington community through the presentation of diverse programs featuring professional, high-quality performing artists. The series is supported by grants from the North Carolina Arts Council, a Division of the Department of Resources with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, South Arts, and National Dance Project of the New England Foundation for the Arts.
