8 PM Kenan Auditorium

Since its founding in 1985, David Dorfman Dance has been celebrated for its exuberant, gorgeous and delightfully eccentric style. The company has garnered an impressive list of critical honors, including eight Bessie Awards. The company's newest project relives the rhythm and groove of the 1970's with Prophets of Funk, a dynamic engagement of movement driven by the popular and populist funk sounds of Sly and the Family Stone.

Tickets $22 general public, $18 faculty and staff and $6 students. Call Kenan Box Office 910.962.3500 or buy tickets at www.etix.com.
