Financial Aid - Overview
The primary mission of the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid is to assist prospective and enrolled students and their families in securing the most suitable financial aid as the student pursues a degree or certificate at UNCW. Through outreach efforts, the office supports the university's mission, including the commitment to public service and the encouragement of access to college.
Further, the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid is committed to serving the UNCW family, as well as the global community. While empowering students to become self-sufficient in the financial aid process, the office provides individual service and maximum client satisfaction.
Ultimately, the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid ensures that all UNCW students are able to realize their educational dreams through awards of need-based grants, scholarships, and money other state and federal programs, as well as non-need-based scholarships and educational loans.
