Information on the Master's Project (Capstone; CLR 597) (±)

  • Students are eligible to enroll after completing the 4 required core courses.
  • Course Coordinator (CC)/Instructor approval is required for course registration.
  • During the spring semester (eg, February), student will receive a registration notice of their expected enrollment in Part 1. Students must inform the CC by the stated deadline (eg, March) of the student’s intent to enroll in the CLR 597 for the fall or spring term.
  • CLR 597 is a 3 credit hours course completed over 2 semesters:
    • Part 1 - Proposal writing and proposal defense (2 credits; 1 semester)
    • Part 2 - Implementation and completion of the project, analysis, and reporting as a final paper and project defense presentation (1 credit; 1 semester)
