- Be a full-time employee at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
- Have five years or more of professional experience.
- Have three years of UNCW employment experience.
- Gain supervisor approval for participation.
- Complete full application (including questions), and send resume and 2 letters of support.
- Participants must achieve 80% attendance and miss no more than 2 sessions to complete the program and attend the CLI graduation.
- Complete CliftonStrengths for Leaders assessment prior to first session.
- Attend one Board of Trustees meeting.
- Complete culminating project.
- Commit to assisting with the cohort directly following their program.
At the conclusion of the program, alumni from the Chancellor's Leadership Institute will:
- Assist with the program's development by completing a feedback form.
- Assist on the planning team for future cohorts or by being a mentor for future cohorts.
