UNCW has assembled a search committee of administrators, faculty and staff to consider the qualifications of applicants for the position. The UNC System Office is working with the committee to conduct the national search.

The Search Committee held its first meeting June 15, 2023. The committee sought comments from students, faculty and staff about the qualifications and characteristics you believe are important in a vice chancellor for student affairs.
Two town hall meetings were held via Zoom on July 13 to enable students, faculty and staff to share their recommendations. An online survey was also available to those who were unable to attend the town hall meetings.
The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs search committee welcomes input and questions from the campus community at any time during the search process. We encourage you to offer feedback on the candidates for the position.
