New Reusable Takeout Program

Beginning March 10 - UNCW Sustainability is excited to announce the introduction of a new reusable takeout program on campus! Starting after Spring Break on March 10, USEFULL containers will be available for checkout at Wagoner and The Shore Dining Halls. These durable reusable containers are made from premium stainless steel and fitted with silicone lids, designed to hold your food and drink at-temperature for up to 5 hours.

This program is available to you at no cost! Costs will only incur in the event of late fees or lost/damaged containers.

To check out a container, you’ll need to create an account on the USEFULL app, available for download on the App Store and Google Play.

When creating your account
·      Select “University of North Carolina at Wilmington” as your community
·      Select your preferred payment method (UNCW One Card/credit/ApplePay/GooglePay) to be used in the event of late fees.
·      USEFULL is completely free so long as you return your containers within the 2 day usage period.

How to sign up for uncw dining on grubhub

  • Download Grubhub and create a new account or sign in if you already have Grubhub downloaded
  • On your Account page, select the Settings (gear icon) at the top right
  • In your Settings, click on Campus Dining
  • Select University of North Carolina Wilmington and your school affiliation
  • Add campus card (UNCW One Card) or go directly to the list of on-campus restaurants

Campus payment methods on grubhub

  • Select Meal Swipe Menu when ordering to use All Access meals, Teal meals, and Faculty/Staff meals
  • Select the Regular Menu when ordering with Food Dollars or Seahawk Bucks
