First-Year Students
First-year students should apply using the CommonApp.
If you are currently enrolled in high school, are an early-college high school student or a high school graduate who has not taken any college-level courses, you're considered a first-year undergraduate.
If you attended or are currently enrolled in community college or another university or have obtained a two-year or four-year degree from another college/ university, you're considered a transfer student.
Students who are returning to UNCW after an absence of two or more consecutive semesters will need to submit a re-enrollment application. Students who return after a one-semester absence do not need to apply to re-enroll.
All applications include safety-related questions. Please answer them truthfully.
