University Administration

Under Chancellor Aswani Volety's direction, UNCW's day-to-day operations are led by a team of professionals with expertise in higher education administration.

This team includes the provost, vice chancellors in three divisions and leaders of several administrative units: athletics, human resources, general counsel, university relations, governmental affairs and internal audit.

Academic Affairs Through effective academic policies, practices and programs, the Division for Academic Affairs provides leadership for excellence in teaching, scholarship and creative work as well as service to local, regional and global communities. Business Affairs The Division of Business Affairs oversees all of the university’s operations, which includes business services, facilities, finance, information technology, enterprise risk management and associated entities. Miles Lackey is the vice chancellor for business affairs. Learn More
Student Affairs The Division of Student Affairs consists of 14 departments which are responsible for providing a variety of student support, service and educational programs which are accessible to all members of the university community.
