Apply for Undergraduate Admission

Please consult the bulleted student type list below to learn if UNCW is still accepting applications.

The following student types may apply for undergraduate admission:

  • First-Year US - Open (Sealevel only)
  • First-Year International Students - Open (Use SeaLevel application)
  • Transfer (Summer or Fall) -Open
  • Military - Open
  • Non-Degree Seeking -Open
  • Visiting Summer School - Open

  • If you qualify for an application fee waiver, please use the SeaLevel or CFNC application.

The Common Application - Closed
The College Foundation of N.C. - Closed for First-Year students. All other student types Open

The application fee for all applicant types (with the exception of Summer School applicants) is $60. This application fee is non-refundable.

Students Previously Enrolled at UNCW

Students who were previously enrolled anytime in their past are considered Re-Enrolling Students (this does not include visiting summer school students). Contact the Office of the Registrar for the appropriate application and instructions at 910.962.3125 or registrar@uncw.edu.

Paper Applications

UNCW no longer prints any copies of any paper application. However, students interested in applying via a paper application may do so by printing their own copy from the PDF documents below.

We strongly encourage you to make copies of all application materials before mailing them to our office. The mailing address is:

Campus Safety Questions

There is a series of questions on all applications for admission related to safety. Every applicant must answer these questions truthfully. If you have questions about this requirement, please refer to our FAQ document.

Crime and Safety Report - This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UNCW; and public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus. The report also contains institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes and other matters. A copy of the report may also be requested by contacting the UNCW Police Department at 910-962-2222
