SERVICE UPGRADE FOR THE PAD

University Relations Photography Archive Database (PAD) will go through service upgrade on the evening of December 16, 2016.  Please refrain from using OUR PAD from 5PM -8AM. during the upgrade, which will enhance our image storage and distribution options.  Once the upgrade is complete, if you have any problems with your PAD account, please email Jeff Janowski at Photography Services with your concerns.

Open Faculty/Staff Portrait Sessions

Photography Services offers two monthly open sessions for faculty/staff portraits. A session will still be held on the first Monday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon in Leutze Hall, room 125.  A second session has been added on the third Tuesday of each month from 3:00 to 4:45 p.m. in the same location.  Each individual portrait takes less than 15 minutes, so please drop in any time between those hours.

NO SECOND SESSION IN DECEMBER - The Faculty/Staff Portrait session for Tuesday December 20th between 3-4:30pm has been cancelled.

An Easier Way to Receive Photos and Search OUR Photo Archives Database (PAD)

OUR Photo Archives Database (PAD) is a new user-friendly system available to all faculty, staff and approved student workers who want to use images of UNCW on approved websites and in campus-sponsored publications. This cloud-based asset management system offers quick browse and search tools to find the photos that fit your needs. It also gives you a choice in file size when downloading photos to your hard drive. It takes just seconds to create an account. There's also a video tutorial to help get you started in the new system.

Access to University Photos

If you are a first-time user to the PAD you will need to create a login identity using your UNCW email as your login name and your own personal password. Please also send Photo Services an email alerting us to your new login.

Access is limited to faculty, staff and approved student workers from on-campus computers only. Supervisors must send an email request to Jeff Janowski/Photo Services Manager to approve any student for download permissions.
