Once you successfully declare a major (including a "pre" program such as Pre-Education and Pre-Nursing), your advising file will be sent to your new department. Your new department should assign you a new advisor, and you will no longer be advised in the University College. If you have questions about who your advisor is or advising practices in your new department, please contact your department office.
