Commencement Regalia and Name Cards

Cap and Gowns

Students do not need to place orders for their cap and gown. Commencement Regalia can be picked up at the UNCW Bookstore during Seahawk Salute or anytime thereafter until the first day of Commencement. Students will be required to have their UNCW One Card swiped in order to pick-up their regalia. All items are yours to keep after Commencement. Any questions regarding regalia should be directed to the UNCW Bookstore at 910.962.3188.

Distinction Cords

Academic distinction cords will be distributed to students during Seahawk Salute, the Office of the Registrar, or in Hanover Gym prior to their Commencement ceremony.  The Office of the Registrar is located in James Hall.

Name Cards

Students will receive a name card when they pick up their Commencement regalia from the UNCW Bookstore. This name card is a very important tool for the graduation ceremony and will be used to announce the name of the graduate. It should be kept and brought to your Commencement ceremony.
